Fall Bible Study Begins!

Hi Ladies!


Here is another reminder about the women's Fall Bible Study. We will be studying "Stepping Up" by Beth Moore. This is a study of Psalms with a guide and DVD.

It will be held Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings starting Saturday, October 10 and Wednesday, October 14 at Liz Walter's home in Gordonville.

Fall Brunch & Women's Outreach!

Ladies, plan to join us for brunch on Sat., Oct. 3

8:30am to 12:30pm

in the Keystone Room

Brunch will be followed by a program on anxiety and depression presented by Loice Robi Byler of Freedom in Him Ministries.

Maybe you have suffered from a form of depression. All of us have experienced various degrees of worry and anxiety. This may not be your personal experience, but maybe you know someone who has had these struggles.

Feel free to invite a friend and come prepared for a morning of teaching and encouragement.

This is a great follow-up to our study on Breaking Free!

No charge to attend. A freewill offering will be taken.

At the brunch, we will be collecting items for an outreach project for our women in Missions. Visit the Welcome Center to pick up an "apple" and find out how you can help! Items will be collected at the brunch and at church on the following Sunday.

We have several events and activities coming up, so be sure to check in here to learn more!



First, you may notice a new button to the right for the Moms in Touch event. There you can find out more information about Arise! Cry Out!, an awesome prayer event coming this Fall!



Second, Betty Rohrer is getting ready to start up a new group for Apples of Gold. There are a few spots left for Mentorees! Interested? Need more information? Go ahead and contact Betty before the end of August!



Third, a Women's Clothing Swap will be coming to Keystone this Fall! Details are still being worked out, but it is sure to be a fun afternoon! Keep your eyes here for more information...coming soon!

Prayer Event

So sorry that I've been neglecting my blogging duties. Busyness overcame me (I'm sure most of you know what that's like!), but I will try to be more on top of things! :o)

I am calling praying women of all ages from our church to come pray for the next generation. I am meeting at the church tomorrow night, June 9th at 7:00 PM to pray for the upcoming Arise Cry Out! Prayer event for children and our schools. This event is taking place on November 14th. This is the first of it's kind worldwide just praying for our next generation, our children. If you cannot come here is a prayer list to pray over the upcoming event. I am also looking for more people to help with registration, publicity, hosting, and prayer for this huge event. Please come join me in this event.

Below is a copy of the prayer requests from headquarters to pray for the event. Thank you for your commitment to pray for Arise! Cry Out!, a worldwide day of extraordinary prayer for children and schools.

This week, please cry out to the Lord that:

· News of Arise! Cry Out! will spread around the world with passionate urgency to participate in prayer for the generations.

· Women will hear God’s call to fill the needed team positions for the Live Event in San Diego, October 9 and 10.

. God will stir the hearts of women in Central America to host and attend Arise! Cry Out!, and that Olga, the MITI Regional Director for Central America, will be blessed by divine appointments both in Central America and at the Live Event.

IMPORTANT:
We are in DESPERATE NEED of a few more sewers to complete the last few blankets for the "Blankets of Love" project! Completed blankets must be returned to the Ministry Center no later than Saturday, May 2. Finished blankets can be placed in a box located in the Keystone Room. For more information about the Blanket Project, please call Sharon Bath at 717.687.6496.

Hi Keystone Ladies!

Here's a new idea for us...a BLOG! That's right, we now have a blog just for us women at Keystone Church. This thing exists to help us communicate, encourage, and connect with each other in a more modern, "techy" sort of way. :o)

In the coming weeks, you'll see posts from some of us on the Women's Ministry Team on a variety of things: upcoming events, interesting topics, scriptures, surveys, etc. Anyone can comment on the posts by clicking on "Comments" at the end of the post and typing their thoughts.
